Summer Camp at the Garden: Wildlife Safari

Young explorers investigate the wildlife living close to home, from insects and frogs to visiting birds. Through nature crafts, games, observation, and Garden exploration, campers learn how to notice, protect, and celebrate backyard animals.

Camp logistics

• For ages 6–9
• A snack is provided; campers should bring a sack lunch and water bottle
• Most of the day is spent outside, so sunscreen and insect repellent may be useful
• Drop-off begins at 8:50 a.m. and pickup ends at 3:10 p.m.; an adult must sign the child in and out each day
• No childcare is available outside those times, and late or early care incurs a per-minute fee

Registration closes two weeks before camp unless the limited enrollment fills sooner. The Garden may cancel a camp with insufficient enrollment. Cancellations made at least two weeks ahead receive a 50% refund; later cancellations are nonrefundable.
