Families considering an outdoor preschool can visit Swallowtail Forest School and learn about its play-based, child-led approach. The program serves ages 3–5 in small groups with a 1:5 teacher-to-child ratio, and the teaching staff is certified in CPR and first aid.
Students spend their half-day sessions exploring outside throughout the year, moving indoors only for extreme cold or other severe weather. The school is adding a second outdoor classroom for the 2026–27 year. Advance RSVP is requested for the open house.
