This free Sunday program lets families explore galleries, talk with docents, and make art at their own pace. From 2–4 p.m., the classroom offers a self-guided, all-ages open studio with accessible materials and light prompts.
A free session with Hite Institute director Chris Reitz also examines what abstraction means, its role in postwar Abstract Expressionism, and the women central to the movement. Discussion and close looking continue into the related exhibition.
