Revolutionary Threads Exhibition Opening

This special exhibition opening examines what men and women experienced during the Revolutionary War through the clothing and equipment they used. Developed by the Transylvania Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the display presents replica uniforms and garments connected to members’ Patriot ancestors.

The exhibition includes stories of women who participated in the Revolution on battlefields and through nursing, espionage, and domestic work. A related one-hour program begins at 1 p.m. and is listed separately by the museum.
