Celebrate the zoo animals with July birthdays through keeper talks and special enrichment. Activities are designed to help visitors learn about individual animals and see how toys and treats engage their senses.
Keeper-talk and enrichment schedule
- 10:15 a.m. — Albus the babirusa, age 17, in Islands
- 10:25 a.m. — Bella the Sumatran orangutan, age 42, in Islands
- 10:35 a.m. — Kaji the Sumatran tiger, age 2, in Islands
- 11 a.m. — Harry and Neville the striped skunks, age 3, in MetaZoo
- 11:45 a.m. — Timmy the Amur tiger, age 9, in Tiger Taiga
- Noon — Baked Beans the eastern screech owl, age 1, and Fig the green-winged macaw, age 21, in the Islands common area
