The Louisville Zoo and Kentucky Hands & Voices are hosting an inclusive day of animal learning in American Sign Language. ASL interpreters will be stationed at several habitats, keeper talks, animal-training demonstrations, and the Zoo entrance.
Children who are deaf or hard of hearing qualify for a free ticket but must be registered in advance through Kentucky Hands & Voices. Discounted admission is available for their family and friends. Other visitors can participate with regular Zoo admission or membership.
