August Birthday Bash

Celebrate the zoo animals with August birthdays through special keeper talks and enrichment. Families may hear stories from animal-care staff and watch birthday animals investigate treats or toys designed to stimulate their senses.

The event is intended to deepen visitors' understanding of wildlife and animal care. The zoo had not yet published the animal-by-animal August lineup, and noted that activities and schedules may change because of weather.
