Kentucky-based artists Vian Sora, Crystal Gregory, and Alana Fitzgerald join curator Tyler Blackwell to discuss gesture, color, material, painting, and personal expression alongside Abstract Expressionists: The Women and Abstraction, Continued. Sora is a Baghdad-born, Louisville-based painter with museum exhibitions and collections in the United States and Middle East. Fitzgerald is a multidisciplinary artist and educator whose work connects painting, sculptural installation, community building, and sustainability. Gregory is a sculptor and University of Kentucky professor examining textile and architecture. The museum publishes advance registration but no price or age restriction.
