Lake Balboa / Anthony C. Beilenson Park

A lake loop, play, picnicking, restrooms, bike connections, fishing, and an adaptive sports field make Lake Balboa a flexible Valley outing with firm water-contact rules.

The park is subject to rainy-weather closure. Rentals, fishing areas, water quality, and operating rules can change, and swimming or other water contact is prohibited.

Lake Balboa · Directions

Lake Balboa centers a 1.3-mile footpath around the water and adds play areas, picnic tables, restrooms, bike connections, fishing, rentals, and an adaptive sports field.

The footpath is reserved for walking except wheelchairs and strollers, while a separate route serves non-motorized wheels. That rule is useful but does not establish grades or whole-park accessibility, and direct contact with the reclaimed-water lake is prohibited.
