Emma Roberts plays the celebrated young detective in this contemporary adaptation. After her father’s work brings the family to Los Angeles, Nancy is encouraged to set sleuthing aside and live like an ordinary teenager. Her curiosity wins out when she uncovers a cold case involving the death of a movie star.
The character of Nancy Drew has inspired readers and viewers since the 1930s through hundreds of novels as well as film, television, and video-game adaptations. This 2007 film runs 97 minutes, is rated PG, and will be presented digitally in English.
