Grammy Award winner Dan Zanes, Haitian-American jazz vocalist and music therapist Claudia Zanes, and gospel singer Tyree Austin perform an interactive family concert built around community, singing, and movement. Their sound brings together folk, jazz, gospel, and roots music with 12-string guitar, flute, trombone, saxophone, beatboxing, percussion, and layered vocal harmonies. The performance lasts approximately 80 minutes.
Planning your visit
Bring a blanket or towel for garden seating, and pack a picnic if desired. Folding chairs, glass, metal cutlery, and alcohol are prohibited. The concert needs no separate ticket, but a free Getty Center timed-entry reservation is required; parking costs extra.
Only front-facing child carriers are permitted in galleries, and strollers must be smaller than 31 × 52 inches. Complimentary strollers and wheelchairs are available first-come, first-served.
