JANM’s free summer family festival celebrates Japanese and Japanese American culture through performances, crafts, and hands-on activities designed for children and accompanying adults.

- Taiko with J-Town Taiko Club
- Participatory bon odori dancing
- Improv comedy from Cold Tofu
- Summer-themed paper crafts to make and decorate
- A festival stamp rally and additional family activities
The program is being held at Terasaki Budokan while the Japanese American National Museum Pavilion is closed for renovation. Free tickets are available for adults, youth ages 6–17, and children 5 and younger.
