Directions
Route
- Begin at Willow Spring Picnic Area and follow the trail south by the pit toilets.
- Continue past the pictograph site and agave roasting pits to Lost Creek parking.
- At the shared Lost Creek segment, bear right at the Site 3 fork to remain on Willow Spring Loop.
- Follow the rocky loop back to Willow Spring Picnic Area.
Good to know
The current 2026 guide publishes 1.1 miles and 127 feet of gain; an older BLM page says 1.5 miles. The current distance controls. BLM calls the loop rocky but does not quantify grade, cross-slope, width, or obstacle size. Part of the route near Willow Spring is paved, but that does not describe the full loop.
