Route
- Begin at the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center and locate the signed Moenkopi trail west of the weather station.
- Follow the loop across the yucca-filled desert and ascend the low Moenkopi limestone ridge.
- Continue over the ridge and descend its far side on the signed trail to complete the loop at the Visitor Center.

Exact tread composition, numeric grade, cross-slope, width, steps, and ruts are not published. The exposed ridge has little shade; check heat, wind, fees, seasonal reservations, and closures.
