This school-readiness fair helps preschoolers and their families prepare for kindergarten through hands-on activities and practical information about Nevada Pre-K standards. Children can also meet Carl from the PBS KIDS series Carl the Collector.
Additional activities and resources include:
- The Clark County School District Book Bus
- UNLV dental screenings
- A produce market
- Tote bags, Exploration Essentials kits, and school supplies for the first 250 families
The fair is designed for children ages 3–5 and is free and open to the public. University of Nevada, Reno Extension hosts the event with the Library District and Vegas PBS, with additional support from Clark County School District.
