Summer Sundays on the Historic East Lawn

Spend a relaxed afternoon on the museum’s historic east lawn, with the 1910 Beaux-Arts mansion as the backdrop. Families may bring a picnic and blanket, play lawn games, and arrive or leave at any point during the three-hour program. The gathering is weather permitting.

The museum remains open until 5 p.m. with free general admission. Elixir, the downstairs soda fountain, will offer Sunday drink specials for guests to take onto the lawn.

• Advance Eventbrite registration is mandatory; walk-ins are not accepted.
• Check in at the museum admissions desk.
• Outside beverages are prohibited. Water, espresso, soda-fountain drinks, beer, wine, and cocktails must be purchased from Elixir.
• Restrooms are downstairs.
• Professional photography and videography are not permitted.
