Hike with a Naturalist

Meet the naturalist outside Lakeside Nature Center's main doors for a guided walk focused on the surrounding habitats. The group usually follows the upper Fox Hollow Trail, whose rock-covered surface is accessible to most participants; the leader may incorporate a more challenging trail section depending on the day's subject.

The hike is free and open to the public. Wear closed-toe shoes or boots and bring weather-appropriate layers, rain gear, sun protection, and insect repellent as needed. Severe weather cancels the program; call 816-513-8960 to confirm conditions or ask questions.
