FOTZ Early Days

Friends of the Zoo members can enter Zoo Central, Australasia and Tiger Trail before the regular opening. Animals in those areas are expected to be viewable, and Beastro Café, the KC Zoo Railroad, Flying Flamingo and Endangered Species Carousel also open early.

The Africa section—including the African Tram, African Sky Safari and Kenyan Cruise—opens at the regular time, weather permitting. This is a membership benefit and does not require separate event registration.
