Community volunteers will prepare the International Flag Mural walls for restoration by applying primer ahead of the July 20 paint day. The project refreshes the existing flags and adds others representing the cultural diversity of Northeast Kansas City.
No painting experience is required. KC Parks supplies primer, tools, and instruction; volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that may get paint on them. Participants may help for the full morning or only part of it. Questions can be emailed to parks.volunteer@kcmo.org.
