More than 70 local students in grades 7–12 take the stage and work behind the scenes for the 20th annual FSCJ High School Summer Musical Theatre Experience. The young company trains with professional theater artists before presenting this colorful, all-singing, all-dancing production based on Nickelodeon’s animated series.

When Bikini Bottom faces destruction from an erupting volcano, SpongeBob and his friends must unite to save their home. The story turns an unlikely hero’s optimism into a celebration of friendship, teamwork, and hope. Its wide-ranging score includes songs by Sara Bareilles, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, David Bowie, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, Panic! at the Disco, They Might Be Giants, The Flaming Lips, and other popular artists.
