The third annual Literary Indulgence Book Festival brings authors, educators, readers, and families together around the theme The New Faces of Education: Where Learning and Literature Converge. General admission includes an author showcase spanning more than 40 writers and multiple genres, panel discussions, readings, book signings, an art-gallery exhibition, vendors, a food truck, music, raffles, and prizes.
For children and families
- A Super Story Writing Workshop for ages 6–12 runs from 10–11 a.m. Space is limited, so advance registration is recommended.
- The Family Fun Zone runs until 3 p.m. with storytelling, face painting, oversized games, and children's book, bubbles, bookbag, and school-supply giveaways while quantities last. Children must be present to receive giveaway items.
- A picture-book reading and other youth-focused storytelling take place in the gallery annex.
The main program includes an educator-and-author panel, sessions about AI and storytelling, building an author platform, and creative entrepreneurship, followed by a keynote from Nikesha Elise Williams. The author showcase, courtyard entertainment, and gallery remain open throughout the festival. Only books purchased through the festival are eligible for the featured-author signing.
Admission is free, but selected masterclasses cost $20 each or $50 for an all-access package. Raffle tickets and food are separate purchases. Families can consult the organizer's complete festival program before attending.
