Downtown
Explore Downtown Jacksonville’s Northbank core on a self-guided evening art walk produced by Downtown Vision. Families can browse local artwork, hear live music, visit participating galleries and businesses, and find food and drinks at James Weldon Johnson Park. The event takes place rain or shine.
The route connects three principal hubs—James Weldon Johnson Park, The Jessie at the duPont Center, and Melanin Market at The Breezeway at VyStar Tower—with additional businesses and public art along the way. Regular participating stops include MOCA Jacksonville, where Art Walk programming features free admission and all-ages art-making, and the Main Library, which hosts rotating galleries and activities such as docent-led art tours, creative programs, and tabletop gaming.
Getting there
Downtown offers metered street spaces, garages, lots, bus service, and the Skyway. Street parking is free after 6 p.m.; private lots may continue charging at night. Review the organizer’s parking and transit guide before leaving home.
