First Wednesday Art Walk

Downtown Vision's monthly Art Walk is a rain-or-shine, self-guided exploration of galleries, public spaces, shops, restaurants, and pop-up programming throughout Downtown's City Center. Families can browse local art, hear live music, visit street performers and vendors, and find food trucks around James Weldon Johnson Park.

Family-friendly stops

• James Weldon Johnson Park: Artists, vendors, food trucks, and live music
• MOCA Jacksonville: Free admission, vendors, and Made @ MOCA activities designed for creators of all ages
• Main Public Library: Gallery tours, creative Zinester activities, and tabletop gaming
• Laura Street and nearby galleries: Local makers, exhibitions, public art, and rotating monthly surprises

Programming varies by month, so families should review the producer's Art Walk page and interactive map shortly before attending.

On-street meters are enforced until 6 p.m. and become free afterward; private lots and garages may continue charging.
