This 30-minute participatory concert introduces young children to orchestral instruments through live music, storytelling, and movement. Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra musicians perform with a narrator, and children can interact with the musicians and try playing real violins.
The featured story is The Giant’s Violin, about a boy who believes a giant and his violin live in the attic above him. The program was created for ages 3–7, and children are welcome to bring a favorite stuffed animal.
Admission is free and this library occurrence does not require advance registration.
