Mile Square
DCI and Downtown Indy host a free, family-focused celebration of music education with ensembles from Indianapolis and around the world. DrumLine Battle percussion groups, SoundSport ensembles and the INpact Band—made up of middle-school musicians from across Indiana—perform, with food vendors around the Circle.
The live program runs from 5 p.m. until dark and culminates in the nightly Shining a Light projection honoring Indianapolis history.
