The museum lowers lighting and reduces distractions so children and adults with sensory-processing differences can explore in a comfortable, accepting environment. Sensory activities are available throughout the building, and social narratives can be picked up at the ticket counter.

Families may borrow a sensory bag, and representatives from the Autism Society of Indiana will be present to assist as needed. The afternoon is included with museum admission and includes a $4 parking validation; online admission is $1 less per ticket.
