Hayao Miyazaki’s 1988 animated film follows sisters Satsuki and Mei as they explore the woods near their new home and meet magical creatures visible only to them. The gentle fantasy runs 87 minutes, is rated G, and will screen indoors in the Tobias Theater rather than on the amphitheater lawn.
The screening is listed as sold out, and advance tickets are required. Guests age 15 and younger must remain with an adult. Newfields is a cashless campus except for its café, and ticket purchases and culinary pop-ups accept cards or digital payments.
