The ninth annual Indy Shorts Film Festival presents 266 short films over six days. Films are grouped into curated programs, with in-person screenings at Indy Art Center, Living Room Theaters, and Newfields; many selections can also be streamed through the festival’s virtual hub.

The Academy Award-, BAFTA-, and Goya-qualifying festival brings more than 300 filmmakers to Indianapolis, with filmmaker question-and-answer sessions following many programs. The lineup includes narrative, documentary, animation, comedy, horror, high-school filmmaking, and social-impact work, including a prize recognizing films about children’s resilience.

Families should consult the official schedule before choosing tickets because individual programs may differ substantially in subject matter and age suitability. The festival ticket site provides the program schedule, passes, individual tickets, accessibility information, and venue-specific details.
