Harry Potter Family Night

Eagle’s Hideaway transforms into a Harry Potter-inspired world with a decorated Quidditch World Cup camping area, sorting, wand-making, Honeydukes treats, butterbeer, a photo booth, scavenger hunt, wizard chess, crafts, animal ambassadors, a community campfire, Quidditch tournament, astronomy, and Defense Against the Dark Arts. Costumes are expected.

Tentative highlights

• 1–4 p.m.: Hogwarts and Diagon Alley open house
• 2 p.m.: Kids’ archery for ages 8 and older; sign up at check-in
• 4 p.m.: Afternoon tea and Divination
• 5 p.m.: Care of Magical Creatures
• 6–8 p.m.: Crafts, hot-dog dinner, and campfire
• 8 p.m.: Quidditch tournament
• 9 p.m.: Astronomy and Defense Against the Dark Arts

Food includes snacks, dinner, s’mores, and butterbeer. Registered families may add an optional overnight tent site for $75. Campers must supply their own tent and gear; sites have no electricity, water, or individual fires, though the building’s restrooms and sinks remain available. RVs, generators, alcohol, and pets are prohibited. Light rain will not cancel the event, but storms may cause cancellation or rescheduling.
