Museum District
Houston Symphony presents a different program on the second night of this family-friendly classical series. Gonzalo Farias conducts violinist Njioma Grevious in music by Korngold, Coleridge-Taylor, Richard Strauss, and Dvořák, including the Captain Blood overture, Coleridge-Taylor’s Violin Concerto, Don Juan, and the Carnival Overture.
Seating
Covered seats require free assigned tickets. Online tickets open at 10 a.m. one day before the performance and remain available through noon on show day while supplies last; additional tickets are held for the box office, which opens one hour before curtain. Unticketed hill seating is first come, first served, and the performance proceeds rain or shine.
