Houston Shakespeare Festival: The Tempest

Prospera summons a violent storm to draw her enemies onto the enchanted island where she has lived in exile. Houston Shakespeare Festival follows her magical plan through revenge, wonder, humor, and eventual reconciliation in a visually driven production intended to be approachable for first-time theatergoers.

The performance uses strobe lighting and will also be livestreamed, but this listing is for the in-person show. Free assigned tickets are required for covered seating; unticketed hill seating is available first come, first served. The production proceeds rain or shine.
