Museum District
An outdoor screening of the animated How to Train Your Dragon takes place beside the Reflection Pool. Ticket holders may enter the Zoo from 2:00 p.m.; dedicated movie-night programming begins at 5:30 p.m., and the last event entry is at 7:00 p.m. Families may bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating.
Evening schedule
- 5:30 p.m.: Hiccup and Astrid character meet-and-greet, followed by a dragon-training activity with Blaze the Dragon
- 6:10 p.m.: Komodo dragon keeper conversation
- 6:40 p.m.: Movie begins
Admission also includes the Mythical Realms attraction and access to the Kathrine G. McGovern Texas Wetlands until 6:30 p.m. Adult tickets are $39 and child tickets are $29; members receive $10 off adult admission and $5 off child admission through the member portal.
