A free evening celebrates Houston’s bats with nature education and family activities. Plans include bat-themed learning with the Houston Area Bat Team, face painting, trivia, music, food trucks, a costumed Batman appearance, and a screening of Batman Returns. Costumes are encouraged.
Bring a lawn chair for the outdoor movie, scheduled to begin at 8:15 p.m. Batman is expected from 6–8 p.m. The event also advertises frozen margaritas for adults, but the overall program is expressly family-friendly.
