Detroit illustrator Dave Chow shares artwork and stories from a career spanning comics, automotive design, advertising, music, and visual storytelling. He explains the influences and creative process behind his work and how a lifelong interest in drawing developed into a career as an artist and educator.
Chow has illustrated vehicles for major automakers, created commercial and music-video artwork, and teaches illustration at the College for Creative Studies. The talk is part of Drawn Together: A Celebration of Detroit Comic Creators. Registration is encouraged because space is limited.
