Families and visitors with sensory-processing differences can explore the Outdoor Adventure Center during reduced-sensory building hours. Exhibit and ambient sound levels will be lowered, and a quiet room stocked with sensory materials will be available. OAC staff are KultureCity-certified.

August’s featured activity introduces catch-and-release fishing at nearby Milliken State Park. Equipment is supplied, all experience levels are welcome, and staff will help visitors practice casting through the Backyard Bass activity.

The building opens to the general public at noon, when sound levels return to their usual settings.
