The Beach at Campus Martius becomes an outdoor rock party with a free performance by Dusty Mixtape on the MGM Grand Detroit Sand Stage. Families can also visit an airbrush-tattoo station and look for giveaways and surprises during the evening.
Concert-ticket drawings are planned for shows by Jefferson Starship, the Beach Boys, Journey, Foo Fighters, My Chemical Romance, Lynyrd Skynyrd with Foreigner, the Coral Reefer Band, Evanescence, Five Finger Death Punch, and Babymetal. Additional activities may be announced closer to the event.
