Movie Nights In The D – A Minecraft Movie

This free outdoor movie night features the PG-rated A Minecraft Movie, in which four outsiders enter the imaginative, block-built Overworld and must learn how it works to find their way home. Bring a chair or blanket for lawn seating; the movie starts at 7 p.m., closed captions will be available, and popcorn will be sold onsite.

Before the movie

From 6 to 7 p.m., Detroit CHEMpreneurist's Motor City Block Builders activity invites young people to design miniature inventions and construct block-world creations from simple materials. Each participant can take home a custom creation. Families may also enter drawings for upgraded VIP seating, a prize pack, Detroit Zoo tickets, and other family-oriented prizes.
