Local herbalists guide families on a short, easy walk through Milliken State Park, highlighting about five plants in a kid-friendly way. The 15- to 20-minute walk incorporates plant identification and a scavenger hunt.
The group returns to the fountain area for samples of dandelion stew and a choice of printed individual or small-group activities, or an activity with a guest speaker. All ages are welcome. Registration is encouraged but not required.
