Celebrate the Dossin Great Lakes Museum’s 65th anniversary with free galleries, waterfront activities, music, food trucks, and community vendors along the Detroit River.
Families can try maritime-themed crafts and games, face painting, caricatures, knot tying, and radio-controlled boats while learning about Great Lakes vessels, the Detroit River, and the people connected to the region’s maritime history.
A Michigan Recreation Passport is required for vehicles entering Belle Isle. Passports may be purchased from the state, at island entrance booths, or at the Belle Isle administration building during its posted hours.
