Councilwoman Latisha Johnson's community wellness day brings health services and family activities together in one free event, presented with the Detroit Health Department, Destined for Greatness, and Redeem Detroit.
Families can access health screenings, dental and vision services, and assistance with food, utilities, insurance, and other resources. The activity lineup includes hustle-dance lessons, face painting, music, a video-game truck, free food, giveaways, raffles, and additional activities for the whole family.
