Celebrate disability identity, culture, creativity and the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act on the museum’s outdoor forecourt. Deaf artist Jaye Jones leads a collective-art workshop in which participants decorate prepared canvas pieces with acrylic markers; the individual pieces will later be sewn into one shared painting. ASL interpreters will be available.

Singer-songwriter Melissa Baehr performs a 15-minute acoustic set at 12:15 p.m. Community organizations will also share information about disability services, service dogs, limb-preservation support and resources for older adults and caregivers. The activity requires no registration and coincides with free museum admission from 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
