The museum's Apollo 11 anniversary celebration fills the day with family-oriented space exhibits, presentations, and activities. Scheduled highlights include a Smithsonian film, aerospace and meteorite sessions, rocket history, Dallas Public Library storytimes, and a keynote by former NASA astronaut Carl Walz followed by an autograph session.
Scouts can work toward astronomy, radio, space-exploration, or space-science badges; worksheets will be available at the information booth. Regular museum admission includes the program.
