An arena celebration of Black cowboy culture, Western heritage and Texas rodeo competition honoring Cleo Hearn. The program includes a Pony Express relay, bull riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping and a halftime performance by Chocolit Tye.
Doors open at 6 p.m. The event is presented by the African American Museum Dallas and continues the rodeo tradition established by Dr. Harry Robinson Jr. Families with noise-sensitive children may want hearing protection for the indoor arena environment.
