Dietitian Julie Palmer teaches participants to season sushi rice and roll colorful vegetable sushi using produce from the Community Garden Campus. The class also makes tamago, a Japanese-style omelet, and concludes with green-tea ice cream and sundae toppings.
Vegan alternatives are available. Families with allergies or dietary restrictions should contact the program manager about ingredients in advance.
