Seven backwoods brothers decide they want wives after the eldest returns home with his new bride. Their misguided courtship plan leads to kidnappings, an avalanche, a winter of enforced separation, and eventual lessons in treating their partners properly.
The energetic musical stars Jane Powell, Howard Keel, and Russ Tamblyn and will be shown on 35mm film. Parents may wish to discuss its dated gender roles and kidnapping plot with children.
