Downtown Columbus
The Ohio State University Marching Band joins the Columbus Symphony for precision marching, fight songs, patriotic music and symphonic favorites. The orchestra’s first half features movie music, including selections associated with E.T. and The Lord of the Rings, before a fireworks finale.
Gates open at 6 p.m. for the 8 p.m. performance. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for general admission. Families may bring food, beverages and reasonably sized coolers; concessions are also available. Pets are not permitted.
The concert is rain or shine unless severe weather forces cancellation. Accessible entrances, seating areas and restrooms are provided, with assistive-listening devices and advance-request accessibility services available.
