Open Studio

Families can explore the CMA Studio’s materials and supplies through August’s Untold Stories theme. Inspired by Tavares Strachan’s attention to people and events omitted from traditional histories, visitors can create a tabletop monument honoring a story they want remembered.

The first hour is a quieter, lower-sensory experience with reduced lighting and supports such as noise-reducing headphones, weighted blankets, and fidget items. All materials are provided, and no registration is required.
