Ethiopian Tewahedo Social Services presents a live demonstration of Ethiopia’s centuries-old coffee ceremony in The Pizzuti’s sculpture garden. Visitors can watch the traditional roasting, grinding, and brewing process while learning about hospitality, community, Ethiopia as coffee’s birthplace, and the ceremony’s cultural legacy.

The program connects with the Pan-African histories and diasporic knowledge explored in Tavares Strachan: The Day Tomorrow Began. Registration is required because space is limited; admission to both the program and exhibition is included.
