Youth fastpitch teams in the 8U, 10U and 12U divisions compete in a North American All Sanctioned World Series. Teams from any nationally recognized sanctioning body may participate, and every registered team is guaranteed five games: four pool-play games followed by single-elimination Platinum and Gold brackets.
World Series activities
The weekend includes opening ceremonies, a parade of teams, skills competitions, All-Star games, pin trading, gift swaps, a Fun Zone, and Team Spirit and Most Valuable Team awards. Up to four players per team may be nominated for an All-Star game. Pools and schedules are expected July 24, with brackets posted July 31.
Fees and registration
Spectator admission is free. Team registration is $900 for 8U and $1,050 for 10U or 12U; a $100 nonrefundable deposit is required. The City of Columbus also charges a flat $200 parking fee per team. Nonlocal teams traveling more than 70 miles must arrange lodging through the tournament’s designated hotel service.
