Midtown
The museum opens early for families whose children have sensory-processing differences or other special needs. Attendance is limited during this hour, creating a quieter, less crowded setting for exploring the museum's eight hands-on exhibit areas.
Families may use a private sensory-friendly room for breaks and are welcome to bring their own adaptive equipment. A limited supply of noise-reducing headphones and sensory-support kits is available at the front desk on a first-come basis. Morning participants may remain after general admission begins at 9 a.m.; advance registration is not required.
